Health Visitor
A Health Visitor may be contacted
through the surgery or on 01865 841976 and is available Monday to
Thursday 9am - 10am for telephone advice or to arrange visits. Her
function is to promote good health by offering advice to patients at
the surgery and in their homes.
Practice Nurses
Sisters Dianne Croft, Debbie Denton
and Hilary Kilcoyne are
available every weekday morning and most afternoons for adult
immunisations, ear syringing, dressings, removal of stitches,
dietary advice, travel advice, cervical smears, health checks and
minor injuries. Appointments for these can be made with the
receptionists.
Healthcare Assistant
Sam Harbottle will run the blood
clinic Monday - Friday 8.10am - 9.25am for booked appointments and
9.30am to 10.15am for walk-in blood clinic.
DISTRICT Nurses
Janet Masters, Clare
Brown, Dawne Jay
and Claire Quick
may be contacted by ringing 01865 842615 and leaving a message
on their answerphone. Messages left after 4pm on
Sunday will be picked up the
next morning. Their function is to provide nursing services to
patients in their home.
Midwife
The midwife provides care and support
for mothers during and after their pregnancies. She may be contacted
Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm on 01865 744998. All other times,
weekends and Bank Holidays phone 01865 740204 and ask for the
Blenheim group midwife. Please be prepared to give your name,
address and telephone number. The controller will then bleep the
midwife and ask her to contact you. For non-urgent calls phone 01865
220457 (Answerphone).

Medical Student Training
Medical Students are sometimes
attached to the practice for 2-3 weeks. If you do not wish a student
to be present please inform the receptionist.
GP Training
The practice is involved in training GP
Registrars. These are fully qualified
doctors who wish to undertake a period of specialised training
required to be a GP. The doctor is attached to the practice
for 1 year.
